| February 27th @ 7:00 pm | Van Hogan, immediate past president of the Historical Society of Orange Park, will present a program on the Orange Park Normal and Industrial School, located at the site of the current Town Hall at Highway 17 (Park Ave) and Kingsley Avenue. The American Missionary Association started the school in the late 19th century for the purpose of educating Black Students with a focus on preparing African-American Teachers, and how its success led to its demise in the segregated South. |  |
