Please join on February 27th at 7:00 PM for a presentation by Van Hogan - Past President of the Historical Society of Orange Park The program will be on the Orange Park Normal and Industrial School, located at the site of the current Town Hall at Highway 17 (Park Ave) and Kingsley Avenue. ![]() The American Missionary Association started the school in the late 19th century for the purpose of educating Black Students with a focus on preparing African-American Teachers, and how its success led to its demise in the segregated South. Location for this meeting will be the Historic Courthouse 915 Walnut Street in Green Cove Springs. All members and guests are invited to attend. |
