Bartram Trail Society of Florida Annual Membership Meeting

The Bartram Trail Society of Florida Annual Membership meeting is scheduled for Sunday, July 21 at 2:00 pm at Camp Chowenwah. The meeting is open to the public and our hope is that we will get a strong turnout from Clay County residents.

The meeting will run between two and three hours and will consist of a short business meeting of the Society followed by three formal presentations. One will be a recap of the events and activities of the Bartram Trail Society over the past year, the second will be an update on the status of Trail development in each of the counties along the Trail and finally, a more in-depth look at William Bartram in Clay County and the current status of the Bartram Trail in Clay County. That final presentation will be by Vishi Garig, and she will highlight the history of the site of present-day Camp Chowenwah, and why it is the premier Bartram Site within Clay County and its Bartram Trail Trailhead.
