Contribute to our mission:
If you have at least 3 hours a month to spare on Friday morning or Sunday afternoon, join the Clay County Historical Society Volunteer Team. If not, consider signing up anyway to help at special events like Tales from the Clink or the Railroad Festival.
The Historical Society depends on a 100% volunteer staff to manage all aspects of the museum, like cataloging exhibits, showing visitors around, and working special events. Sometimes we even take the show on the road! Some of our volunteers are able to accumulate service hours helping our 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
